Is New York Times hacking just the beginningOn Wednesday night, The New York Times declared it had been the mark of assaults from hackers in China for the last four months. The assaults followed an inquiry by Times journalist David Barboza into the private assets of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Times administrators alleged the Chinese administration had cautioned that the member of Wen’s associations would “have effects,” which prompted the newspaper’s managers to request AT&T to look at their network for strange activity.

The hackers were capable of stealing the company secret codes of each Times employee, in addition to burgle the private computers of 53 workers. Read the rest of this entry »

Today it is hard to imagine that the crime has moved from cyberspace to being effected in the real world and people being held hostage with weapons to produce whatever it is that the criminals want.

Turns out that in today’s world cybercrime is effected physically and in fact in several instances the two incidents are related. Criminals are getting access to information of users who are not browsing with a hidden identity and this was illustrated in an occurrence in Australia, which has left many baffled as it moved from cyberspace in to the real world.. Dirty playing by Microsoft, and The biggest historical breach

If you are looking for a career in hacking then head East, to China, where government just might employ you. In the last couple of months, various bodies ranging from public to private have been under attack through hacking, with some of the attacks going on incessantly for four long months such as the New York Times case.

The Chinese military has been identified as the culprit behind the hacking by crack teams who have been working overtime to trace the source while protecting the integrity of their companies. This accusations have however been strongly denied by Chinese officials, adding that these institutions must show evidence to support their statements, otherwise the allegations are unethical and uncalled for and it is now up to the ones pointing fingers to prove by evidence of China’s attacks. Montana zombie apocalypse cancelled and Hacked offBetween zombies and hackers Americans seem to be a having a full plate of things to watch out. It was reported through local broadcast stations emergency systems of impeding zombie attacks that had been the work of US hackers having a field day, which caused some degree of fear among the local populace. This prank, which is considered not to hilarious was not without its effects both positive and negative.

The victims of the attack include the KRTV network whose broadcast was interrupted on the Monday of 11 February in the afternoon segment. Warnings of the dead rising played across the stations network, viewers were told of the attacks by on the living by these zombies, and cautioned not to approach the creatures but rather stay away or hide. Facebook is hit by hackers causing techno panic

Facebook is Hit by HackersFacebook, the giant social media corporation has not escaped the dragnet of the hackers, which is hot on the heels of Twitter, which saw 250,000 details of its users stolen after an immense breach of their security measures.

The giant, who termed the attack as sophisticated has said that the breach occurred after its employees accessed a developers site, which had already been hacked and the malware planted. The malware then lodged itself through employees laptops that had an active anti-virus software, but somehow the malware managed to sneak through the security wall placed. Luckily, the corporation reports that no data of its users was compromised in the breach that occurred in the previous month, which the company thinks happened through a faulty java software.
